Back in 1982, I first heard Rick Wakeman's new album, "1984". About once in every thirty years you will hear a song that hits you hard and makes a lasting impression. On that album I heard "Julia's Song" - brilliant music and deep-meaning words. But it was not sung by Rick Wakeman, it was sung by a female vocalist. I made a tape of the song, which I still have. It had haunted me for twenty-five years until December 2007 when I discovered she was CORI JOSIAS. I tracked down a video of her first big gig in 1981 at the Hammersmith Odeon, when she sang "Julia's Song." Surprisingly, Cori had never seen this video until she watched it on this website. She sent me this message:
"Thank you Tony! I've never seen that video before. It was the Hammersmith Odeon and was my first ever big gig. Glad you like it. Wishing you joy over the holidays, Cori."
