My book, "RETURN TO THE BLUE COAT" was published in November 2007 and is available exclusively from the Liverpool Blue Coat Brotherly Society for the bargain price of £7.99. The book tells of my six years at the Blue Coat School from 1971 until 1977 and my nostalgic return in 2004. The final chapter was written by my former English teacher, ALAN GLEAVE, who taught at the school from 1975 until 2005.
Two other books were published by the Brotherly Society at the same time. "A Blue Coat Boy in the 1920s" was written by Danny Ross who passed away in 2004 at the age of 90, and "Memories from the mid-20th Century" was produced by Frank Irwin, a pupil in the 1950s. It contains tales by many Old Blues, and a couple of teachers.
These books retail at £7.99 and £14.99 respectively, or you can buy ALL THREE FOR £25.00. (plus £1.50 p&p per
book).
